Nuts and seeds

So I’ve been snacking on nuts & seeds whenever I need a munch before lunch or dinner & my chosen 4 are:

1. Sunflower seeds – Contains Zinc which triggers matabolism which helps with weight loss

2. Pumpkin seeds – Good source of iron, victim, protein & keeps you satisfied for much longer

3. Whole Almond – Protein, fibre & omega 3 fatty acids & reduces belly fat due to targeting the fat in that area

4. Walnuts – Iron, zinc, vitamins & again omega 3 fatty acids as well as keeping you satisfied for longer

Obviously you don’t want to be consuming too much nuts & seeds as if you get carried away you’ll end up eating more calories during the day so I use my two little containers mixing the seeds together & the nuts together, literally a small handful altogether, it keeps me satisfied until my main meals & prevents unnecessary snacking on bad foods.

Fat to fit

It’s amazing what a bit of exercise & healthy eating can do, especially when you stick if out longer then you have ever done before. It’s just a shame there is no such thing as spot reduction, trying to slim down my bingo wings are a pain in the ass πŸ˜‘ but it’s working slowly but surely.

Just like most people who have problem areas, it takes time, continue to wake up, slay, work your ass off & get the results you want.

Don’t aim for perfection because it doesn’t exist, aim for progression only.

I started my journey this year by exercising, keeping fit, changing my eating habits, losing weight & becoming confident enough to share my experiences with the world on Instagram, my blog by uploading videos and pictures showing the real me. The old me was too scared about what people people think, too worried about being real, no makeup, bingo wings on show, rolls on my belly but that’s all changed, the minute I stopped caring about what people thought, started doing what I loved that’s when I became happier.

I wake up every morning kicking ass, working out or going for a run & I have not gone back to my old depressed miserable self since. I even still indulge in what ever I want because I don’t deprive myself, I allow myself treats & I still lose weight & stay in shape because I am eating well & not binging from depriving or starving myself.

If I can achieve all this in just a matter of a few months then anyone can.
