Last weekday run

When the sun doesn’t rise until 07.34am & you have to get your regime in before starting work πŸ™„

One of the things I hate about Autumn/Winter, the dark mornings which means no more 5am runs in the bright sunshine, instead it’s dark runs in a bright jacket & an attached light just so you can been seen whilst running in pitch black which just aint happening so……this is my last weekday run πŸ˜‘ (which ironically was an amazing one) it’s now back to weekend runs only & using my weekdays for home workouts for the next few months whilst tying to stay as motivated as possible during the upcoming winter months, I GOT THIS!!! No amount of Christmas advertising & festive food is going to stop me which I say every year but the difference this year is that I’ve actually kept it going for nearly a year, I am proud to say that I have dropped two dress sizes and lost around 2 stone, normally I am up and down and I stop and start and even though I have had cheat days and indulged I have still managed to get up and exercise without quitting like I have always been known to do.

So this winter is the test, I always use winter and Christmas as an excuse and then come the new year I gain all that weight again and make yet another new years resolution to lose weight and get in shape, not this time as I’ll be one step again, I’ll already been in shape, be fit and healthy as I am today.

Motivated as ever, stronger, fitter and healthier as ever and winter is not going to stop me and people that let it are making excuses, food is life and for some people so is Christmas but don’t let one day of the year and the build up to it ruin all your hard efforts over the past few months, carry on slaying and reward yourself on that big day, that’s my mission 😁

So this is what I’ve done, I have incoperated my fav moves from the beachbody workouts & created my own workoutπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺπŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ

So what are the perks of a suspension trainer: As displayed on site I will also lay this out here for your guys:

  1. Fast and effective full body train: Workout using this Suspension Trainer system is very effective if you want to increase your body fitness level. Each exercise trains several groups of muscle at the same time. That means one exercise can train lots of muscles, so using this system of training you can reach success to exercise full body in one workout!

5 reasons why you should use Suspension Trainer

  1. Inner muscles development:

Inner muscles are responsible for our stabilization and power transmission during movement. A common problem training in the gym with weights is that people mostly train external muscles and they forget about inner muscles that have a huge impact on our stabilization. Training with suspension trainer solve this problem because when people do the exercise they must keep balance, which is caused by a belt instability effect. Constant inner muscles training allows people to fully control the weight of their bodies.

  1. Decreasing body fat level:

Suspension Trainer system is amazing training way that is decreasing fat level on the body. As mentioned before using this training system works lots of muscles, in consequence, burns extra calories. After the intense workout, your body comes in β€œAfterburn” mode, when calories are burned up to 48 hours after physical exertion.

Ideal Body Fat Percentage Chart

  1. Suitable for all types of bodies and any age athlete’s

To change the level of difficulty of an exercise, you just need to change the body angle of inclination. Because of this feature to train body using suspension trainer system is suitable for everyone. In addition, at any time during the exercise, the level of difficulty can be changed simply by moving forward or backward so it saves your time that you regularly spend changing weights on the machines.

  1. It provides an opportunity to exercise anywhere you want

Would you believe me if I could say you can train the body in the dunes with an amazing view of the sea, and after the workout, immediately jump into it? If you do not believe and think that this opportunity is only available training in expensive gyms that also provide you a great view, you can change your mind and believe it. You can hang Suspension Trainer anywhere where you can find a tree branch, crossbar, tube, or any item that you can wrap and attach to your suspension trainer belts.

Sit ups

So I’ve never been a fan of situps, in fact out of all the exercises I do it’s my least favourite, that & press ups 😫

This machine is my God send, so straight forward, easier & works the stomach just the same 😏

Sometimes I do situps the harder way with my hands behind my head pushing myself to the point my stomach hurts then other times I just use this, I call it my cheat machine πŸ˜‹

If defo helps when you’ve never done sit ups before & just starting out or your having a lazy day but still want to exercise with ease, this is me today, yh it’s only Tuesday but I think the morning run took it out of me πŸ™„

Anyway i initally started with 30 a day now at 50 with & without this little tool, but I love it because it give a you that extra push πŸ’ͺ

Wake up, kick ass, REPEAT!

Its HARD to wake up early every single morning & exercise before work.

But it’s also HARD to not feel confident with the way you look or feel in your own skin. So which one do you choose?

Its easier to wake up every morning & exercise for an hour then it is to wake up every morning looking in the mirror feeling unhappy or unfit, so continue to wake up, kick ass, go to work & repeat. This time next year you will thank yourselfπŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ’•

Home workout

So I’ve been attempting to do this after every morning run I do and I am happy to say it’s paying off, 7 pounds lighter, stronger, fitter and that little bit closer to my old fitness freak self. Not only that but I’ve been very stressed and on the verge of a break down for the past month and exercise has been my miracle cure, it’s taken me out of a black hole and slowly helped me with the stress related issues I have been facing l.

Be gone the stress, the bingo wings, the insecurities and the being out of breath when running for the bus or up a flight of stairs, as the saying goes:

” It doesn’t get easier you just get stronger” and I can definitely feel and see some results in myself.

When you see the difference in yourself, pysically and mentally that’s when it gets addictive and it’s there’s worse things to be addicted to.
