My own lil workout

So when you’ve done so many fitness programmes you learn so many new moves & what works best for you to the point that you can then put together your own routine without having to stick a workout programme on every time.

So this is what I’ve done, I have incoperated my fav moves from the beachbody workouts & created my own workout๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿคธโ€โ™€๏ธ

Morning warmup

So after my morning runs I do different work outs from lunges and squats with weights, bit of yoga or some press ups, wall sits and crunches, sometimes after my run I am so pumped up I like to keep my heart rate going by doing a little 10/15 minute session as shown below. This is also good if you cannot fit a long fitness programme into your busy schedule as 10 minutes a day really does go a long way. You can also mix up the moves by adding your own thing into it, I love having a variety of options, especially when the music is in the background because you can pretty much move and exercise however you want.

In this session I am doing the following:

Running on the spot
Jumping jacks
Side leg lifts
Squats
High kicks
As long and as many as possible in 2 minutes

Repeat x3

Before I even had weights I used to use tins of beans & any other tins I could find in the cuboards, it’s still heavy & works the same ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ

The weights I use now are from good old eBay ๐Ÿ˜

Results so far

I must say my results so far from my fitness & weightloss journey is pretty shocking๐Ÿ˜ฎ looking back & seeing how unfit/unhealthy I was before๐Ÿ˜ž seeing how far I’m come, how much weight I’ve lost (around a stone ๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ’ƒ) & actually keeping it up, I’m so proud of me ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ

10 exercises, 10 minutes

Gotta love Fabulous magazine when they have a section on exercises ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™€๏ธ

10 minutes & 10 exercises, theres a few I already do such as the squats, lunges and pressups but I can’t say I’ve ever done hip bridges, superwoman or the raise and curl ๐Ÿ™„

Will be adding these into my routine from tomorrow, I always love adding new exercise moves into my routine ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ƒ

So far I am defo seeing results within my body, I properly started this whole weightloss and fitness journey in March/April and I remember when I was younger, like in my 20s I could easily lose like 5 pounds a week, through hard core exercising and healthy eating, it’s defo true what they say about getting older and if being harder to lose weight, I’m 31 in a few months and I feel I’ve worked so much harder then I did 10 years ago and it’s like I am waiting a lifetime for results for patience is the key, one thing I noticed straight away was my attitude and confidence, I am constantly more happier and positive, I am less stressed and I am more confident with posting images of myself working out or after a run with no make up on because I have found something I love and no one or nothing else matters, no opinions or the fear of what people will think because I started doing what I love and cared about everything else around that less.

Every morning I wake up in excited to go on my morning runs, I’m excited to so some home workouts and when people ask “how do you get up at 5am and run” erm the same way you get up every morning and brush your teeth or make a coffee of smoke, it’s a routine that I have got into and it’s just now part of my life.

One thing is for sure this is the longest in years I have kept if going for with the exercising and healthy eating, so far I have dropped a dress size, lost once a off my waste and arms and as I said before I just always happy, if only mode doctors would suggest exercising when people are depressed rather then giving them a subscription of pills like they did with me in the hope of getting better when really I just needed to work my butt off.

Anyway I hope you find those images useful, because as it says, just 10 minutes of 10 exercises everyday can go a long way ๐Ÿ˜Š
