Gotta love Fabulous magazine when they have a section on exercises πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ

10 minutes & 10 exercises, theres a few I already do such as the squats, lunges and pressups but I can’t say I’ve ever done hip bridges, superwoman or the raise and curl πŸ™„

Will be adding these into my routine from tomorrow, I always love adding new exercise moves into my routine πŸ˜πŸ’ƒ

So far I am defo seeing results within my body, I properly started this whole weightloss and fitness journey in March/April and I remember when I was younger, like in my 20s I could easily lose like 5 pounds a week, through hard core exercising and healthy eating, it’s defo true what they say about getting older and if being harder to lose weight, I’m 31 in a few months and I feel I’ve worked so much harder then I did 10 years ago and it’s like I am waiting a lifetime for results for patience is the key, one thing I noticed straight away was my attitude and confidence, I am constantly more happier and positive, I am less stressed and I am more confident with posting images of myself working out or after a run with no make up on because I have found something I love and no one or nothing else matters, no opinions or the fear of what people will think because I started doing what I love and cared about everything else around that less.

Every morning I wake up in excited to go on my morning runs, I’m excited to so some home workouts and when people ask “how do you get up at 5am and run” erm the same way you get up every morning and brush your teeth or make a coffee of smoke, it’s a routine that I have got into and it’s just now part of my life.

One thing is for sure this is the longest in years I have kept if going for with the exercising and healthy eating, so far I have dropped a dress size, lost once a off my waste and arms and as I said before I just always happy, if only mode doctors would suggest exercising when people are depressed rather then giving them a subscription of pills like they did with me in the hope of getting better when really I just needed to work my butt off.

Anyway I hope you find those images useful, because as it says, just 10 minutes of 10 exercises everyday can go a long way 😊

Fat to fit

It’s amazing what a bit of exercise & healthy eating can do, especially when you stick if out longer then you have ever done before. It’s just a shame there is no such thing as spot reduction, trying to slim down my bingo wings are a pain in the ass πŸ˜‘ but it’s working slowly but surely.

Just like most people who have problem areas, it takes time, continue to wake up, slay, work your ass off & get the results you want.

Don’t aim for perfection because it doesn’t exist, aim for progression only.

Another wall sit attempt

Compete with others become BITTER, compete with yourself become BETTER!

And that’s what I’m doing, competing with myself to get better, stronger, fitter, to improve my speed & time with my runs & the routines I find the hardest such as the wall sit.

I am now at 46 seconds from 16 & I want to get to at least 1 minute & I will πŸ’ͺπŸŽ–πŸ’ƒ

Wall sit part 2

Yes over 30 seconds!!!! Record lol 😊

So the first time I did the wall sit literally a few days ago I managed 16 seconds and now I’m at 40. I am finding squatting helps alot with this to but my god does it kill.

But as they say no pain no gain, I will carry on pushing until the results are showing and my time gets better just as I do with my running.

Competing with yourself is the best type of motivation and I love adding new things into my routine. My next challenge once I have accomplished the wall sit will be the plank 😏

Monday again

It’s Monday, the weather is still looking good for us all (shame we have to work in it) and it’s a fresh start to the week for anyone that had one of those guilty weekends πŸ˜”

Currently making use of Bixby which is installed on my Samsung Galaxy because it tracks all my steps taken for the day and all my calories burnt even when I’m just sat down, not only that but when I’m running it will tell me every time I have reached a mile and when I have nearly reached my target by saying ” Almost there, you can do it” just as I am about to crash. That and the beautiful outdoors is enough motivation for me.

It’s Friday!

Start as you mean to go on. It’s my day off today and sleep ins don’t exist as far as I am concerned so I ran this morning and this time last week it took over an hour to get back to my 3 miles which I used to do easily and this morning I did over 3 miles in under an hour #proud

So it just goes to show you never really lose your mojo, yeah you slow down a bit when you take a break but it’s so easy to get back to a routine and to improve, so for all those keen runners start now and literally within a week you will notice the difference.

The weather is getting better, spring is finally here, the outdoors at this time of year is just beautiful, there is literally nothing better then being outside first thing in the morning, which may I add is the best time to run, you pretty much have the whole park/road to yourself.

Anyways enjoy your weekend, I will be doing what I love best and that is running all weekend πŸ˜‹
