About Me

A woman who is trying to build confidence, love herself and become a happier person through health and fitness.

A few years ago I discovered not only a new interest but a new passion and a new way of life. Once very insecure, low in confidence and shy I became full of life, confidence, motivated and determined. And why you ask? Because once at my biggest (size 16-18) I went down to a size 8-10 through hard work and determination, however anyone that’s once been overweight and lost it all knows how hard it is to maintain this with work, family, relationships and other stuff that can get in the way. I am again trying to get back into fitness after a slippery slope. I want to share my thoughts, goals, failures and successes with people to help, motivate and encourage a new way of life as well as learn from other fitness enthusiasts.

I am now working as a coach through Team Beachbody helping many people get in shape, lose weight & become healthier all though their excellent training packages as well as giving people the opportunity to also become coaches so they can help others the way I have and earn an income, I wake up every morning looking forward to exciting and sharing my life through social media, if I can motivate and inspire at least one person then I know I’ve achieved something.

So here it is, my blog, my journey, my life, you can also check out my journey through Instagram @mayapalmerfitness

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Hi Maya, thanks for liking my ‘bikram yoga’ post and following my blog! I love jogging too but have been struggling with motivation lately – your inspirational posters were just what I needed to see today 🙂

  3. Hey Maya,
Thanks for checking out my blogs and for the follow! I look forward to reading your blogs. Keep it up with the fitness! I started my fitness journey 12yrs ago. I quit smoking and joined the YMCA. Last year in October my wife and I switched from the YMCA and joined Goodlife Fitness which is a very cool gym. Lately as well I’ve been into running outside running from 2k to 10ks. Good to meet you and have a good weekend!
