When the sun doesn’t rise until 07.34am & you have to get your regime in before starting work 🙄
One of the things I hate about Autumn/Winter, the dark mornings which means no more 5am runs in the bright sunshine, instead it’s dark runs in a bright jacket & an attached light just so you can been seen whilst running in pitch black which just aint happening so……this is my last weekday run 😑 (which ironically was an amazing one) it’s now back to weekend runs only & using my weekdays for home workouts for the next few months whilst tying to stay as motivated as possible during the upcoming winter months, I GOT THIS!!! No amount of Christmas advertising & festive food is going to stop me which I say every year but the difference this year is that I’ve actually kept it going for nearly a year, I am proud to say that I have dropped two dress sizes and lost around 2 stone, normally I am up and down and I stop and start and even though I have had cheat days and indulged I have still managed to get up and exercise without quitting like I have always been known to do.
So this winter is the test, I always use winter and Christmas as an excuse and then come the new year I gain all that weight again and make yet another new years resolution to lose weight and get in shape, not this time as I’ll be one step again, I’ll already been in shape, be fit and healthy as I am today.
Motivated as ever, stronger, fitter and healthier as ever and winter is not going to stop me and people that let it are making excuses, food is life and for some people so is Christmas but don’t let one day of the year and the build up to it ruin all your hard efforts over the past few months, carry on slaying and reward yourself on that big day, that’s my mission 😁
