21 day challenge in June

Leg & arm workout

Want to work those legs & thighs then this is defo the work out you need👌

It feels like your running up loads of stairs, the burn is unreal 🔥🔥🔥

But if its not hurting then it’s not working 💪💪💪

Strength slides have been a big help with lunges & other routines which I once struggled with so defo worth it if your new like me with certain routines.

Exercising with cramps

I think I can speak for nearly every woman when I say that the monthly cycle is the worse 😥 (sorry guys) from cramps, spots, bloating, headaches, hot flushes & becoming a moody b**ch you name it 👹

I used to avoid exercising but I’ve realised that exercising is actually the best thing for you🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♀️🏊‍♀️ because it lifts your mood (well sort of lol) & helps with those dreaded cramps.

Aside from running I’m taking up yoga 🧘‍♀️ it’s relaxing, therapeutic & makes you have better balance, become more flexible & relieves cramps & back pain.

The one thing that I always need though or shall I say crave during this time is food! And no not healthy food I’m talking chocolate, crisps etc 🍫🍩🍪 but I won’t indulge all day I will have cheat treats using that first day as my cheat day as you know the first day is always the worse😖😔🤒 but still working out to ease those side effects.

Shame I can’t do anything about this big ass pimple on my chin that I get every month in the exact same place. WHY??? 😠🤬 I will be in hibernation for the next few days😂 – (morning workouts🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♀️chilled afternoons 🏡🛋🖥 & early nights 🛏😴)

Reasons to run

Running is by far my favourite exercise in the world 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
Here are 10 reasons to take it up if you don’t already do it although there are literally over a hundred benefits of running that are not listed here.

I think the scary part for most people with taking up running is the fear of looking stupid or not being able to run that far.

Firstly for me I realised that no one pays attention to runners, if anything it’s an achievement in itself to even step outside & attempt it & secondly just like a baby, you have to take baby steps first & just with anything new, you learn, improve & get better with time.

Don’t quit

It’s a slow process but quitting won’t speed it up. –

The moment you’re ready to quit is usually the moment right before a miracle is about to happen. –

Don’t give up!

I started this journey properly 2 months ago, I have lost a stone and dropped a dreas size, I have had days where I thought I literally cba to wake up early and go for a run and I didn’t, days where I binged on crap because I am human, the next day I jumped back on it, I went for a run, did a workout, ate healthy and here I am, blogging, updating my journey through Instagram and I’m looking back and my before picture and now and I see the difference, it’s not what I expected at all, the amount of times I have given up after like day 3 and it’s now been over 2 months.

Point I am making is don’t look how far you have to go but instead how far you’ve come, pat yourself on the back, be proud of your achievements, carry on slaying and indulge if you want to because you deserve it.
