Monday workout

ch as I love lunges & squats I have also been doing this in my routines working my legs & thighs & I am seeing the difference each day. I have also gone in on my daily crunches & omg my stomach is on fire right now but as they say no pain no gain!

Also making use of my online fitness programme with team beachbody, my Netflix for fitness, literally never had so much choices, I am doing the 21 day fix programme so in 21 days days from now I expect a toner, fitter & stronger me! ๐Ÿ’ช

Fitness Coach at the ready

So as some of you may know I am a newly fitness buff & from this point forward, I am making it a larger part of my life! Iโ€™ll be turning to social media as my source of accountability & if I can inspire/help others along the way even better!

WHY? Honestly, that would just be a lengthy read so Iโ€™ll just leave it at this: I know what itโ€™s like to be unhappy with my body, my mindset & energy levels at an all time low & I would much rather be happy, healthy & fit guiding others whilst holding myself accountable through a community of supportive people.

I have a new found love & passion for fitness & Iโ€™ve been looking for ways to make it a bigger part of my life & Iโ€™m so excited to let everybody know that Iโ€™ve found it! Iโ€™ve joined a community of online health & fitness coaches & plan to continue to document my journey & share REAL value through social media.

My hope is that some of you will think of me if you have health & fitness goals & maybe I can even inspire others through my day to day posts!

Food prep

So part of my fitness journey has been through exercising & learning how to eat the right type of foods which I found hard due to never finding the time to cook or prepare meals but since I have become more serious about changing my life through health & fitness I have realised that if I am exercising I need to also be making the effort to plan meals & eat right.

Without preparation & planning you get into an easy habit of making something quick that isn’t good for you or not filling enough so you end up snacking later on in the day so I am now going to do a meal prep every Sunday for the week ahead in order to be consistent & to achieve my goals, no excuses & what’s an hour of prepping each week. Preparation is key!

So I mentioned in one of my older posts about being 30 and not being where I wanna be and trying to figure out what my options where as I don’t want to be in a job I don’t like struggling from month to month and just surviving and not living and now I am finally one step closer to my dream.

So being into fitness and slowing getting the results I have been dreaming of for so long there is now no stopping me, I have been given the taste of success and so far great results and I now want to use this to continue to progress and inspire others which I will be doing through Team Beachbody. They are an amazing business that has helped people all over the world through weight loss and fitness products, I have my own coach who is an inspiration as she was once where I was and she’s now a successful, fit and healthy business woman, someone I inspire to be like.

So watch this space, I will be sharing my meals, fitness programmes and progress and hope I can help and motivate people to join me on my fitness journey.

Don’t give up

When you have those days where you think “can I really be bothered” or “I literally cba anymore”…..

But then you try on some clothes & you notice that they are more loose, you go up a flight of stairs & notice that you are not as tired or out of breath as you would normally be & even better when someone asks that question

“Have you lost weight”

All those little things are the best feeling when your on a weightloss & fitness journey & that is why you have to ignore the devil on your shoulder, push through the pain, carry on & remember why you started in the first place!

Wall sit part 2

Yes over 30 seconds!!!! Record lol ๐Ÿ˜Š

So the first time I did the wall sit literally a few days ago I managed 16 seconds and now I’m at 40. I am finding squatting helps alot with this to but my god does it kill.

But as they say no pain no gain, I will carry on pushing until the results are showing and my time gets better just as I do with my running.

Competing with yourself is the best type of motivation and I love adding new things into my routine. My next challenge once I have accomplished the wall sit will be the plank ๐Ÿ˜

Monday again

It’s Monday, the weather is still looking good for us all (shame we have to work in it) and it’s a fresh start to the week for anyone that had one of those guilty weekends ๐Ÿ˜”

Currently making use of Bixby which is installed on my Samsung Galaxy because it tracks all my steps taken for the day and all my calories burnt even when I’m just sat down, not only that but when I’m running it will tell me every time I have reached a mile and when I have nearly reached my target by saying ” Almost there, you can do it” just as I am about to crash. That and the beautiful outdoors is enough motivation for me.
